Wave key bitting machines mill the required code “snake” groove into both sides of the key blade. Two spindles, each attached to an XYZ servo system, simultaneously mills the groove on both sides of the key. A pneumatic single-point marker adds the code number to the key. The keys are measured, deburred, and unloaded.  Depending on requirements, keys may be ringed and/or dropped into bags. A magazine stacker or a vibratory feeder bowl with hopper automatically feeds the key blanks.
